The Story
For the story behind the game and it’s history and evolvement, please consult the internet, as this story has been told over and over again.
Now
If you were playing any PC games in the 1990’s, you will have heard and maybe even played the game Wolfenstein 3-D.
Sound & music
From start to finish of this game, there is music. The original soundtrack consists of 27 tracks and most of them with a slight “military” touch.
All songs were originally composed on a synthesizers and then written (or sequenced) into Voyetra Sequencer Gold, but with the sound standard (Ad Lib Music Synthesizer Card and Sound Blaster) of the 1990’s, most games and demos had this “moody” sound to it, especially when using the AdLib sound – but so was the gameplay.
As reading up on the music for this Wolfenstein, I found that not all of these tracks was a part of the game – some were easter eggs.
Game music from ‘Wolfenstein 3-D‘. Game developed by id Software and published in 1992 by Apogee Software.
