Elevator Action (Arcade)

Arcade platform

Take a trip back in time, and listen to some of the work of Yoshio Imamura.

This is one of those games that was in the arcade, but you never actually played (or it might just be me). It looked way to complicated to play.

I’ve saw the Elevator Action arcade game so many time in my younger years, but first time I played this, was on the the MSX computer in the home of my childhood friend Peter A, sometime mid/late 1980’s.

At this point, my eye-hand coordination wasn’t as “fine tuned” as today, and the fact that this game was played on the right-side arrow keys and not with a joystick (or ASWD keys), was a steep learning curve.

Regarding the music for this game … It’s apparently the same tune played in 4 different “moods” or sounds.
