If there is one thing that defines the 80s – besides Miami Vice, shoulder pads and pastel colors – it has to be the Rubik’s Cube – even though it was invented in 1974, by Ernõ Rubik.
I’ve recently been reacquainted with the Rubik’s Cube, and in an instant, I had a flashback, being back at my room with the Rubik’s Cube, frustrated and angry at it, because it couldn’t solve it.
Friday, right after work, I went to a local game shop, to get me an authentic Rubik’s Cube and a WitLong Rubik’s Cube replica made for speed assembly.
I’ll never learn to solve the Rubik’s Cube, without the aid of a screwdriver. And I’m still not able to do it.
This has to be one of the things to put on my to-do list, for the future to come.
