This old “pieces” were painted with my very first batch of Uni Posca markers – back in the 80s.

The lady on the pictures, is taken from Spirou et Fantasio (#29), “Qui arrêtera Cyanure” a.k.a “Who Shall Stop Cyanide” a.k.a “En robot for meget” by Tome and Janry.

The surface has been primed with ordinary spray paint (aerosol paint), before it was painted with Uni Posca markers. This way, you get a much better surface to paint, and you prevent the colors from sinking into the substrate and it also serves as a unique background with a good contrast to the “piece” itself.
