It’s possible to install a hard drive in both Amiga 600 and Amiga 1200 yourself. You can install either a Compact Flash (CF) memory card or just a standard IDE 2.5″ hard drive. This is done in a special mounting bracket and with a short 3 cm IDE cable.

There is also an original hard drive (HD) version of both the Amiga 600 and Amiga 1200, but you can also do it yourself – if you did’nt get your hands on one of them at the time.
