Atari platform
Take a trip back in time, and listen to some of the work of Rob Hubbard.
I don’t think I’m exaggerating if I say that I have played this game a 1000 times. Peter had the Atari ST and also this game. It was awesome.
This game really shows the graphic capabilities of the Atari ST. The number of colors and details in the fighters are amazing, and for some weird reason, this version of the game, was the only version looking like this – where the other version were crappy and very low detailed graphics wise.
Whenever we wanted to play International Karate on the Atari ST, we always said; “Lets play the karate game with the fat guys”.
The music in this game isn’t all that great.
International Karate was released in the United States by Epyx under the name ‘World Karate Championship‘.
Game music from ‘International Karate‘. Game made by System 3 and was published in 1985 by System 3.
